Was picking corn with our 1750 with 354 conversion out of a Massey combine yesterday and had a full wagon and when I idled the tractor down to unhook, and it quit. Earlier in the day we shut it off for a second and had a heck of a time getting it started again, cranked forever until it finally started (this tractor normally starts excellent under all conditions). We changed the fuel filters (although it displayed no signs of normal filter problems such as surging or running rough), and still nothing. Plenty of fuel coming out of both bleeders on the injector pump (fairly sure all air is out), but I cracked a line coming out of the top of the pump going to an injector and cranked the tractor and there was no fuel coming out. What gives? Any help is appreciated.

I had this problem on my 1755 -354 conversion. The culprit was the fuel cutoff switch at the pump. Even thought the cable indicated it was pushed in, the switch was crossed up somehow on the inside of the pump.

Is the Inj pump spinning. open timing window and see. the drive on the bottom could be sheered off? Just a guess.
