I have just purchased an oliver 88 standard 1949
year. I would like to know the horse power and the correct paint scheme. I have seen pictures of olivers with green wheels, red wheels and also yellow wheels.

for 1949, the correct colors would have been red wheels and yellow trim. The later tractors had white wheels and many older tractors were repainted this way.

cant help you on paint for sure but the hp ratings by my book ar 45 belt and 39 drawbar. this is for the 1948 neb test records its probably close to this.
