guys, just replaced the hyd pump on my 540, the pump works fine but the three point does not. there is a little shaft on the right side of the hyd tank that connects to the lift arm. when i uncouple it and rotate if forward the arms will raise to mx but then i cant lower them, i then move that little shaft reward and they will go down, but then i can"t raise them again.
any help would be app.

That shaft actuates a lever and valve in the hydraulic reservoir (under the big square cover) The depth lever beside the seat and that shaft are both adjustable to act on the valve to control the cylinder- they work together- the shop manual gives a dimension but they need to work in unison, if the rod from the lever beside the seat gets bent it can do strange things. Probably have not told you anything you did not know but you might want to get it set back to the dimensions given in the manual. If you don"t have one give me a shout I"ll try and dig up mine.
