due to oil leaks in my cockshut 570 super's power steering pump and unit on the peddestal i decided to rebuilt both units, to my surprice there are no longer seals avalable for them by the dealer due to OEM stock depletion.
none of the bearing and seal outfits i contacted are able to get them anymore either.

Would there be anyone around who still may stock them?
What i need is steering pump output shaft seal # ER-90850 c/r. [ 3/4" ID x 1 1/4 OD x 1/4 w ].
above seal size is avalable as oil seal but not as pump seal.

Also needed is a steering unit oil seal with # 503110 c/r [ 2" ID x 2 17/32" OD x 9/32" w ].

Any reply would be greatly apriciated.

Phil has them, a friend of mine who was an Oliver dealer has them normally since the Oliver is 99% thge same unit. On the Eaton pump, what is the problem with using a normal seal? Also a cause of front pump seals leaking if everything is good in that area is excessive leakage internally in the pump. Those pumps were used by other people as well: Charlynn steering for one and I helped a man that had worn one too far and I had acess to a pump off of a Case. It worked fine. J.

thanks for your reply Schwiebert,

the reason i liked to have a pump seal is that for one the pump is not in the greatest shape,2,the location of the seal requaers the pump to be taken apart again if the normal seal happens to fail in short order.
for the gemmer steering unit there is no one i can find that has that size of seal, it does not exist.
Do you have a phone # for the phill you mentioned?
