Was it nice? Original, painted or restored?

Very, very nice restoration. Had PTO, hydraulics, drawbar. I'd give it an A+. Museum quality.

Wow! That's amazing then. A tough old dude that did not run very good and had a locked up rear end sold for $12,600 in Beach, ND last weekend. No PTO or anything. I'd hate to try and turn it into an A+ Museum quality restoration for less than 9k. People don't fully appreciate the finished product. Or they don't know what it takes to restore one. Thanks for your response.

It's the same way with antique cars. Unless you love to work on them and don't have a problem throwing away money, you are further ahead to buy one all done up. Sometimes I think the people who pay outrageous prices for a hunk of junk like you mentioned don't have their head on straight. Then, everyone who has a POS thinks there's is worth that if not more. It's a viscous cycle!
