I have a super 55 with bad motor. I got a 82 ford V6 motor Iam thinking of putting in it.I found would only have to drill new holes in the ford flywheel for the S55 clutch to fit.another prob would be to get the correct height. The starter would not go inside the frame, have to do some engineering for that one. No prob with length.Have-not got to the fan prob. JERRY

Use pulleys that sit reaward as much as possible, throw fan in trash, install electric pusher in front of radiator. Convert to 12V and you"ll have no problems.

Pto - need to make a hub conversion. If engine flywheel is too far forward it"s easy. If rearward, probably will need to space it forward for the drive hub.

Length - need to adjust with spacer plate , either trans to engine or engine or flywheel to clutch.

My Allis B had a Wisconsin, used the Allis clutch and flywheel mounted to a shaft and chain driven from engine. Saw a Buick V6 in a WC, and many V-8 pullers around here (Mopar, Chevy, and Ford in IH, Maaey, Oliver).

Time and tape measure are your friend

There was a Funk kit to put a flathead V8 in the 8n Fords. Might be quite a kick to adapt one of those in there.
