I know Don Wi has one on an Oliver--just wondering how hard to find and what price people are finding on those rollbars and roofs. It'd be nice to put one on my 2-105.

J, Colfax Tractor Parts in Des Moines Iowa has four on there lot that just came in from California all on 2-70s this summer. They are asking around $800 includes ROPS, support bar and canopy. I got lucky earlier this summer and found an original on a White 2-105 with fender fuel tanks on top. Had to torch through the bolts to get off, which was a shame. The main bolt on the original one didn't have a nut on top, it screwed directly into the ROPS. Now I have to figure out how to get that out. I figure it was worth it for $600. Chad

Now is a 2-70 rops the same as the 2-105 or not? I wont bother if its not correct, and it seems to me that a 2-70 would be unique like the 16xx series was the the bigger ones.

Talk about horrible grammer in that post by me! I was trying to say that the 16xx/2-70's are smaller than the larger tractors, so the rops gotta be as well.

J, I would bet that they are different. I am pretty sure the axel on 2-105 is much bigger. Chad

I think technically I stole the one I got. I paid either $300 or $350 for mine, just saw it when I was scanning the Wisconsin Farmer classified ads one day.

You wouldn't beleive how nice that canopy akes it to run the 1855 in the summer. For in the winter I've got a custom fit weather break from Femco and the windsheild goes almost all the way up to the roof, I think it actually tucks under the lip of the roof a little. Makes it a little more comfortable to run that time of year too.

I ran into Lonnie Miller out at the Dover OH Oliver show and I sure he said that they make new ROPS and Conopies for the Oliver and Whites. They were not cheap, but they look really origional, and seeings how you cant find them used anymore....

He is out of Logansport Indiana 574-652-4500

See if he can help you guys that want canopies.
