I'd like to purchase an IT manual for my Co-Op E4 but seem only to find the manual for a 35 & 40D4. Are these two tractors at all similar to the Cockshutt 40?

The manual you want is available as a reprint I think the IT # is CS1 or CS2, the same manual is for Cockshutt 30,40 & 50, E3, E4, & E5 models. You should join Cockshutt club, lots of stuff in quarterly newsletters, and sources. For manual call Keith McClure at 330-567-3951 he lists them for 20.00 That is where I picked up the one I use.

I bought mine off E-Bay. It seems to me the older
IT manuals are on ebay and the older it is the more
complete.

35s have a hercules eng.40d4 is a perkins 4 cylinder diesel Eng.If you have the 6 cyl. You need the manual for a Buda 6 cylinder diesel eng which was in the 40s and 50s,if you have the 4cyl
the 40d4 will work.
