I did not go to Hoobers---I was told they were only pulling the antiques tractors and would not be pulling classics. I wanted to bring down the 2255, pull fri. night and then travel to the Elks pull in Chestertown on Sat.

Hey....OLIVER GETS IT DONE ---How did you make out pulling Fri. nite @ "HOOBERS" annual pull, at there Middletown-(DEL.-Md.)location you had several 'OLIVER" tractors at the pull, how did your 1900'O' pull in the 14,500lb. class do? I'll ask around, try and find you a manifold.... Also heard they had a record #134 hooks....

I GOT SECOND WITH 1900 NEXT TO LAST PULL OF THE NIGHT I NEW I SHOULDNT HAVE TAKEN IT. GOT HOME AT 2.30 IN MORN THE OTHERS WERE JUST THERE. IT IS HARD TO COMPETE A GAINST NON STOCK TRACTORS. WITH STOCK TRACTORS WITH STOCK DRAWBARS. I THINK IM GOING JUST START TRACTOR SHWOING. GETING TIRED OF CONTRIBUTING TO CHEATERS TROPY CASE. I WAS 4TH 5TH OR 6TH IN MOST CLASSES SO IF YOU TAKE THE MODOFIDE TRACTORS OUT OF EACH CLASS WHERE WOULD I HAVE BEEN????? I HAD FUN JUST VISITING WITH FOLKS THO

OLIVER GETS IT DONE, WHY DONT'T YOU BREAK OUT OF THE BARN ONE OF YOUR 990's AND GET WITH THE PROGRAM---THE 'PEOPLE WATCHING THE TRACTORS PULL, LIKE TO SEE A LITTLE SMOKE, WHEEL SPEED, NOT JUST THE SAME OLD TRACTOR THAT ARE FATHER'S PLOWED, DISKED,AND SPREAD MANURE. THEY WANT TO SEE A SHOW, NOT PAINT--DRYING..... NEXT YEAR, BRING OUT ONE OF THOSE 'RARE' 99's OR 990's,AND JOIN UP WITH ELITE TRACTORS AT THE PULLS AND HAVE SOME REAL FUN...@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

I grew up in that area around Elkton and Chesapeake City. We swam in the C&D canal and the Elk river. Hal
