We recently purchased an Oliver tractor from my uncle. The tractor is in very good condition and the front end clearly says Oliver 66 in the paint, however it has a 6 cylinder engine. From what I've read, the 66 was a 4 cylinder and the 70 series was the 6 cylinder. Does anyone know if there were any 66's made with a 6 cylinder engine.

66 frame's too short for a 6 cylinder. Are you sure you don't have a couple of chipped decals on an 88?

Everyone, thnks for your help. After doing some further looking your right, it is an 88. Some of the paint is faded from the decal area. Now that I have that figured out, does anyone know what type of loader will fit on it. We are looking for a front bucket assembly. The tracter is only used on an acreage, but we would like something for snow and to move maneur around with. Any advice would be appreciated.
