I took delivery of my 2-105 today and the dealer tag is from Marcus Iowa. Wondering if anyone out there dealed with them in the day and what happend to them. Looks like they are pretty close to O'Briens in Sheldon there. Any comments on Gross would be great. Thanks!

    The dealership in Marcus, Iowa was a good one.  They were one of the higher sales dealership and offered excellent service.  Gross & McCoy, Claude Gross and Bernie McCoy operated the business from the early 60's.  Later after the passing of Bernie it operated as Gross Inc. and ran by Claude and his son Jeff.  After a disagreement with AGCO the business was discontinued.


    The business was located downtown like most dealerships, later a new facility was built on the highway southeast of Marcus just north of the KProducts plant.


    Claude claimed that the dealership sold more Oliver plows than any other dealership, however some competeing dealers said that Claude counted mouldboards instead of backbones.
