I am looking for some one who I can get parts for an Oliver Super 55 gas tractor 1955 year made. Right now I am having trouble getting the right thermostat radiator cap, and water pump. I live in Ponca City,Ok., and its hard to find Oliver any tractor parts. Now the big question is Can this system be pressured? I have heard yes and no. Right now it has a no pressure system. I found out just yesterday after taking the housing off to replace the thermostat that it was gone. So I don't know if its the right one or not. According to the book it is.
As for the pumps. I have been told that it can be rebuilt. But! I have not been able to find a new or rebuilt replacement pump for it,better yet a rebuild kit.
My cap is shot, rusted up and on the verge of falling apart. I have found a site that has what I need for $9.65, which is not bad, but they want $8.00 shipping and handeling.
If you can help let me know. I am a night worker so it may be a while before I answer. Thanks John.

It is a 4 psi pressure system. Pressure caps and thermostats can be purchased from a good auto parts store. Yes your pump can be rebuilt.

I remember reading some where about 4 to 6 psi. Do I have to change any thing other than the radiator cap?
If it can be re-built, where can I get a kit? I have not seen one listed for this model not even on the Krove site.

Thank you for the information. I checked out the Kroves site. They have a lot of things I need and then some.
