Would anyone have a general idea of how much an 880 diesel with cast wheels and narrow front weighs. There are no additional weights on the tractor. Thanks, Phil

Our 880 D NF w / cast wheels and fluid and Power Trac hitch went to the field at arond 6500 # . For pulling w / steel 18.4 x 34 and steel not cast frt rims I could get it down to 5500#. When they cut my class to 5000 I had to do a lot. That is why I was happy when they went to % pulls

Thank you all for the replies.

Which gear would you recommend I pull in, as far as I know the motor is stock. It also has a T/A that seems pretty solid, is it wise to use it when pulling or can it be hurt if not careful. Thanks, Phil

now that is completly a track specific ? I have not pulled the 880 for 15 yrs now but when we started in % pulls I did best in 3rd or 4th gear. I was not after speed and we had the low speed rear end not a power booster drive. You will just have to get out in public and you will either look like a pro or just plain stupid ! Trial and error and you will find every track different

The 880 gasser that I had, weighed 6300 lb., with a narrow front, cast wheels, power booster, factory power steering, and the good 3 point hitch.

It will be around 5500lbs give or take a few 100lbs. My farm equipment guide says 5452lbs
