I NEED A 6 CYL IN LINE HERCULES (OLIVER) DIESEL ENGINE FOR A CLETRAC. THE ENGINE WE HAVE NOW IS CIRCA 1950 AND IS MODEL DFXE, BUT THE BLOCK IS RUINED. I'M TOLD THESE ENGINES WERE WIDELY USED BY THE MILITARY. THIS IS ALL WE NEED TO COMPLETE OUR RESTORATION.

I may have the engine your looking for, I will have to get back to you with the model number but I know its a 6cyl. in line hurc. diesel. I belive its a 1947 modle year or later because it has this date stamped on the exhaust manifold. It was in a Gardner Denver 700 CFM air compressor, I remember it has an American Bosch fuel injection pump and this engine is very heavy.
