I have an OC-46 with the 4 cylinder gas engine. It starts right up and runs great, although after about an hour it loses power, sometimes not even enough to move itself. If I turn it off for 20 mins it starts right back and runs great for a little while and then the same thing happens. We changed the plugs and wires but that didn"t help. It runs at a pretty constant temp of about 145. Any tips?

Any automotive parts store should have a capacitor, take the original with you.

You may have a weak coil. When the engine loses power you need to pull the coil wire from the cap and hold it near a good ground while someone makes an attempt to start the tractor. You need to do this asap before the coil has a chance to cool. It there's a good hot spark you may have
a fuel problem. If your carburetor has a main jet adjusting screw near the bottom of the carburetor may need to opened a few turns. Hal

Before changing anything more, check it out when it plays up. Check the spark. If it is strong and blue it is OK, Weak and yellow might mean its ignition. Check fuel flow from carb. It must be full flow and continuous (check for a minute or more). Check to find if the choke makes any temporary difference to the engine when it plays up. Check fuel tank breather by removing cap and waiting for an engine improvement in power. Check the colour of the plug electrodes when it plays up. Sooty is too rich, grey is weak mixture.

Seems suspiciously like a partial vacuum in the tank but not enough symptoms to go on.

145 ? (63 degrees Celsius) is not hot enough. Most thermostats operate in the 80 range.
