My 1953 77 row crop was sounding real sick and had a rough time pulling it's self. I installed a set of new plugs with the proper gap, points, condenser, rotor, cap and coil. I had to put the charger on the battery for a bit as it was almost dead. I hit the starter button and it roared to life! I let it warm up then adjusted the carb a tad. I'm here to tell you...what a sweet sound! And yes, it will pull now.

I found out why the battery was going dead. The wires that run along the block to the alt were fried and corroded next to the block. The wires looked good when you looked at them. So, a total re-wire job is next. Ya gotta love these sweet old trators!
