Last fall at a plow day, a guy showed up with a 77 and a 2 bottom JD plow. He ran it a few rounds, and I helped him make some adjustments to plow. He had just bought it and was going to fix it up and wanted to see what all he could find wrong with it.. It needed an overhaul and the clutch started slipping, so he had to plow in 2nd gear. Couldn't tell there was anything behind it, if the clutch had been good, he would have run away from everybody there. I think you should be able to, just might have to shallow up yuor depth a little if its tough ground. The biggest thing is to get the rust off of the bottoms before you start. My nickels worth. Chris

Depends on the type of ground that you have. By us, 3-14s is a load for an 880.

Might handle a 3-12 plow or maybe a 3-14 but I think that would be pushing it some. Now a 2-16 it will pull just fine and have some power to spare which my self I prefer because some times you can find some things that plow very hard
