I finally broke down and got Wildblue. I'm still trying to get the bugs out switching from dialup to this, will get it eventually, don't have a 4 year old in the house to show me how. Would someone explain to me VERY SLOWLY how to post multiple pictures with Photobucket? Pictures to follow. Chris

I have had Wildblue since May of last year, it has been very reliable for me. It was down once last year for a while when a data line was cut in Texas, and it goes down very rarely when the rain/snow gets very heavy. DSL doesn't come to where I live, but WB is twice as fast on downloads and the same price per month. Page to page web browsing is faster with DSL, there is a delay in the satellite/their equipment, so it sometimes takes a few more seconds for things to happen when you click something. It sure beats the 26.4 connection dialup, especially with no dropped calls anymore. There are some message boards at www.wildblue.cc if you have problems. If you got a good install, you shouldn't have many. If you are changing email addresses, I suggest going with something like gmail if it's not too late. If something better/cheaper than WB comes along you could keep the same address without switching again. And gmail works with Outlook and Outlook Express too, and has much more storage room for emails, and of course is free.

I don't know anything about photobucket, if I had time I could look at it, but it looks like the grass is getting dry, so I better get to it and stop goofing around.

Nice tractor. How do you like wild blue? I posted a topic about how people like hughes net, wild blue etc. and got some good info. I narrowed it down to wild blue. Let us know how you like it. Doug N

It is a whole lot faster, think I'll like it, just have to learn how to use it. My kids are grown and gone, so I don't have a 4th grader here to show me what to do. Having a little trouble switching e-mail from outlook to wildblue, but think I'll get it figured out in time. Chris
