Hi everyone I just refurbished my very old Oliver OC4, and the it starts up fine no problem, but once started the starter itself won"t stop running. I don"t know what i"ve wired wrong - any ideas, suggestions or know where I can see a diagram of how it should be wired correctly? Thanks for any advice and help!!!

Make sure you are using a 6v solenoid not a 12v.

I take it this is a 3 cylinder OC-4? On what terminal of the ignition switch dis you attach the wire that goes either to the starter solenoid (or magnetic swich if a gas) Take a test light and with the engine off and the key on in the run position do you have power on the small terminal of the above name items?

What happens if you unhook the wire to it from the switch and touch a jumper wire to the starter?

Is your solenoid sticking? I had a Harley Sportster that used to stick the relay all the time.
