Well my 3 point hitch arrived today.A few problems as usual.By the way I am putting this on my 77.Anyhow the hydra electric cylinder does not show well ,rust and pitting on exposed shaft.I was wondering if I could replace this with a dual operating cylinder,I have a series 3 hydraulic system, and would like to know if anyone has a converted their's over and has info for what is needed.Secondly is it worth leaving the draw bar frame in.A friend said it does not function very well.

Thank you as always,
Vito

Ihave a Oliver threePt. that I am putting on an 88. I intend to leave the swinging drawbar on. Also I will add a quick hitch and an adapter to pick up implements with tongue weight (discs, augors, etc. so I don't have to move the support jacks. The nice thing about 2-way cyls. is that you have more controlwhen moving implements around the yard. I would to hear from you when you get it done and mabey a pic. or two. Armand

What kind of 3pt. are you installing? I would definatly leave the factory drawbar on as you will need it for pull-type PTO powered implements and other uses as it will not have the slop that your 3pt may have. Also plan on putting on a quick-hitch as it will make it easier to attatch implemts when you are by yourself. Armand
