Hey guys, does anyone have any experience with these model of mowers? A local dealer had the pair for sale for $300. I thought it was a little steep as they appear to be missing the pitan arm assembly and one is missing the main drive belt, other than that they are both fairly complete aside from a few guards and knives. Can a guy still get parts for these or are they just one more thing that AGCO has DISCONTINUED. I sure would appreciate any info anyone has and maybe a parts breakdown perhaps. Thanks to all in advance and look forward to your reply.

Hi , I have a 415 mower . If you can get them both for 300 I'd do it . They have more value than that as parts . There are some parts that have been discontinued . The knife is the same as a JD 37 knife and so is the driven head . The clamps are still available from agco as are the wearplates for the end shoes . The pitman drive end isn't available anymore . The pitman wood is hard to find so making one yourself is easier , agco can get them but they are real pricey . I rebuilt mine with a lot of new parts and it's as quiet as a mouse when it runs and cut's alfalfa like it isn't there , I have a moco now and only use the 415 for ditches which it isn't very good for since it has a pitman stick . The other thing I don't like about it is it doesn't raise very high to go over things and it only raises flat so mowing between trees doesn't happen . It's strictly a field mower as far as I'm concerned but it does it very good . ...Randy
