On the fleetlines should the lug bolts, hubs, front dust covers, and axle shafts be painted to match the wheels or the frame?

Think about how the tractors were painted at the end of the assembly line.  They came through the paint area with the wheel hubs installed on the axles.  Wheels were painted seperately and wheels or rims were installed using hardware as it came from the supplier.

I have been told that some of the summer tractors had the hubs painted red with a brush after the paint area by part time summer school students.
