We have a Cockshut 30 without live PTO, there is a panel that has 'For Live PTO' on it, is there an add on we can install?

The part where you wrote "straight bolt up to the non live" - is this behind the plate? What is supposed to be behind the plate to bolt on to?
It doesn"t seem like there is something to bolt on to behind the plate on ours.
Thanks for the help

I have 1951 Cockshutt 30 that has no PTO or hydraulics, only a belt pulley, came from the factory that way.

there is a gentleman in olgilvie minnesota parting out 2 30 cockshuts he has pto off of one of them i bought the other, but if it was me i would not change it as this is a quite rare tractor . from what i have learned it was only produced in 1946 as an option and all after were standard with live power

Where do I find the person who might have the live pto part? How bad of an idea is it to change our tractor, is it possible we could do something that would damage it by adding this part? We really need our tractor, it works perfectly right now and we wouldn"t want to do anything that might wreck it, the funny thing about it is our truck and cars have all been non-functional repeatedly over the winter, it"s been the only 100% reliable thing we have!

A 30 without a Live PTO is very scarce. I will bet some collector will be calling and want to swap parts with you.
