What is the best way to get my hands on an injector puller (1755)? Do you figure that injection service places have them for sale or rent?

I guess I'm too cheap. Use two flat nosed pry bars( one in the notch on each side) and gently rock them out if they don't pull straight out. Just took mine out today to have them checked while I get the head checked out after blowing gasket.

Most of the time,I can get the "pencil" style injectors out without too much trouble. When there's a tough one,I have an OTC (Owatonna tool co.)tool made just for this injector type.Works well.

I'd say most tractor shops would have one they could lend or rent.

NAPA can get them from OTC. That is where I got mine from. I think it was around $60
