I am trying to find out where the stabilizer brackets go on the back of a 1955 Oliver Super 55 Gas. Do they bolt on the middle of the axle or do they bolt on the outside where the fenders bolt on? I have 1 bracket and it fits the outside where the fender bolts on. The inside holes are too close together. But a friend of mine said they are supposed to bolt on in the middle of the axle, and that bracket is the wrong one. What is the correct answer please? And does anyone know where I can get another bracket if the one I have is the right one? Thank you!

I have this in my archives, its not my tractor but a photo I saved off of here. So whoevers tractor it is, its their credit. I used the photo pto build mine. It is so handy. Princess Auto arms #8024461 or #8024489 fit perfectly. Just have to measure, I cant recall which one. But I use them every week.

They go on at the fender bolts. Any closer to the center of the tractor and they will be too long to work with the lift arms.

The ones on my tractor use the fender bolts to hold them on.
