I found a Grove tractor, it looks like a 770 or 880.I dont know the difference. It looks to be complete except the seat. Also it is a LP tractor. Does anyone know the production numbers for the grove tractors? And also where do I find the modle number? Does anyone know the value of the Grove tractors ? Thanks for any information Dwight.

Dwight, I will answer some of your questions.

Oliver only built the 770's as a orchard, not the 880's. The serial number is on a plate just below and to the left of the instrument panel. If the tractor has all the sheet metal on it, the serial number plate will be hard to get to. The number built has never been determined as no one has gone through all the 770 build cards to find out. As to what one is worth? I guess thats whatever someone would be willing to pay.

Now, I have a question. Near what town are you located? I know of one that could be bought in central Florida, and I'm wondering if that is the one you now have.
