I have a 550 that I need to put a additional hydraulic valve on. I all ready have the factory on there. Is there any way to put another on? There is a plug on the side of the valve housing and another one on the front of the main hydraulic housing. Can I use these to plumb in the new in?

Thanks for the help

mabey its not to late to help.i just put remote hydralics on my 550. you can remove the factory port block and valve, with a drill press and about one hour, its possible to make a power beyond block from a 1" x 3" x 3" piece of steel. order a control valve from northen tool and equipment (which will mount under lift contol)then just plumb it in. i had nothing to start with, since you have a factory unit, sell it and you'll probly come out ahead

There is only one "live" port coming out the side of the housing, and it is used (and covered up) by the factory setup you already have. You could probably jury-rig a double hydraulic valve and feed it from the factory external, by tying the lever down on the external, for a steady supply of oil to the new valve.
