Anybody have a known - good working under load, hydra-power for a 1950 GM? or recently overhauled one and have an idea of what the common worn parts would run from a dealer? I assume these parts can still be bought from AGCO? Thanks

I would replace the sprag and the clutch discs. I thing the sprg is 150- 175 nad set of discs and spacers around the same. THey are fairly easy to rebuild. We do all of our over/unders and hydrapowers. We have an extra one out of a 1550 at the farm. I'm not sure if it is the same or not. It appears smaller, but could just be the bell housing. We need to rebuild the one in our 1850 because it slips in direct. Probably a set of clutches would fix it and a few seals.

I had mine gone through for my 1600 and it ran me around $650 3 years ago. They replaced the side cover on mine with one that has the external bypass line and that was about $150. Otherwise they replaced the sprag, all the gaskets and seals and a couple other parts and it really wasn't too bad.
