Here is my 2255 pulling a 26' White disc getting ready for corn. Plenty of traction but would like more power out of the 3150.

How do you add a picture to your posting? I'd like to post a picture of my 1950-T out pulling a DMI field cultivator but I'm not sure how you do it.

third party image

This was my first picture post to a forum. It took several attempt before finally getting it to work. The first thing is to resize the picture you want to post. I used 640x480 pixles. Then you need to upload your picture to the internet. I used photobucket.com. After you have registered you goto the page for uplloading. Click on the browse then find you picture and click upload. You can find your picture in your photobucket album and uner it you will see the url link. Right click the url link and then go to the forum & paste it where it says optional image url. When you preview your post if you don't see your picture, something went wrong.

To make sure I could repete the process here is a pic of me hauling the 2255 to my uncles. Hope this helps, Stu.

As far as I know the fuel setting is stock. I did run mostly in 3rd direct but was able to run fair in over in the drier parts. The field I was working was wet to say the least. We were trying to beat the rain to finish planting corn. We had 80 degrees & sun, but the ground was "swamp ground". We used my 2255 so we could get through the wet spots to let the ground to dry out.The pic was taken on Sun. and we had the corn planted Mon. We live in southern, IN. about 20 minutes from Louisville, KY. After plowing about 10 acres and discing about 9, I have found more leaks to fix. The pinion seal is allowing the transfer case to overfill, and I'm not quite ready to split the tractor to remove the tranfer case.Stu.

Very nice looking original tractor and it appears ballasted well also with the heavy rear cast duals and the 1200 lbs on the front. Do you know if it has had the fuel setting changed on the engine or is it stock? Which gear range were you using to disc with 3rd Direct?

Now that is what I call farming. I wish I could still do it that way.Unfortunetly here land demand and costs have forced us to farm a differnt way.
