Did the 770/880 Olivers ever come factory with flat top fenders?

In LATE '62, the 770's were produced with the flat-tops and fiberglass fenders. I believe 62 was the last year for the 880's??? They never had the flat tops. the 1600 toook thier place.

I would dido the other posts. We had a late 880 and a few yrs later bought a new 770 which was built longer than the 880 and the 770 had Fiber g grill and F tops

770's did. i think 1963 and newer. the ones with the fiberglass grills anyway. 880's never did. i could be wrong though.

The 770s with the fiberglass checkerboard grills had flat top fenders. I believe all the 880s had the clamshell fenders.
