I am looking for a pair of rear weights for my 1958 Cockshutt 550. It has cast center wheels. Does anybody out there know what the correct casting number is? thanks

Hi Tony,

My first reply listed the WRONG 500 series rear weight casting number!

The CORRECT wheel weight casting nnmber is T-16682.

Hi Tony,

I think T-16662 is the number cast into the weight. The 550, 560, 570, & 570S all use the same weight on the heavy cast rear centers.

Thanks for your input, Phil. My '57 50 Deluxe has T16682 weights on it. Are they correct for it or do I need to put them on the 550 and find correct ones for the 50? Also, my 570 Super has TF109 weights on it, ever see that number before? It's a late '62 so I may have been made after the takeover. Heck, I might have Oliver weights on it for all I know!!!!!

Hi Tony,

The Cockshutt 50 starting at serial number 15001 used the T-16682 500 series rear wheel weight. This is all according to a late 50 Diesel Parts Manual that I have. I have a friend that has a '57 50 Deluxe that has them.

I have seen the TF 109 weights on only two or three tractors. The part number is not on the last Cockshutt parts catalog.
