OK I know everybody hates the ? but what could I expect to pay for a decent 660. I have not a clue , is it rare or not. Is it a $500 unit or $5000 ? I went to Northern In. on Saturday where they have 4 of them {I think he said only 3 are in the auction as one is a family original} I think it is one of the least Ollies I have seen and I would like to have one but I cannot afford a lot. They look like a neat little tractor. Would it pull a 2 bottom 16inch plow or a 10 ft disc ? Do I need to look at another model ? They were very helpful at the site but would not speculate as to the value. They had other models there that they kind of did but would not comment on the 660's

At one time there were about a dozen 660's running around here. They will pull what you are asking just fine. You will need duals for the disk. In answer to Rick they would outdo a regular 77 and are not too far behind a Super. We had one customer who pulled 3-14's, but I also had to replace all the rivets holding the ring gear to the carrier with the replacement bolts for him. Most were purchased for second tractors to use to cultivate, haul manure, etc. J.

Boy,he must have had that little bugger weighted down pretty good or been plowing on some pretty flat ground. We used to have a heck of a time pulling 2x14s up some of these Michigan hills with a 66. It wasn't a problem of power, you couldn't keep the front end down or the power to the ground. :)

Well this is 10 miles from one of your old favorite places, world famous Yoder & Frey. So it is flat and he did have it weighted. He pulled a 3-14 model 4340 plow and it would match his 550 with 3-14's. J.

Yea,when the King boys moved up here from down there, they couldn't believe we even farmed such ground. They said if they saw a rock the size of a softball, they got off and picked it up. They siad if they did that here, they would never be on the tractor. :)

Are you closer to Burr Oak or Sturgis. I ran that area a lot when Campbell"s was growing soup beans in that area. King"s were my biggest grower.

We're up here nearer the middle of the mitten. The King that I'm talking about was a Menonite fellow who lived down near Archbold Ohio. He became a pastor and moved up here to serve a church.

I'd lean more toward a 2x14 plow and an 8 foot disc. A 77 would be a little more likely to pull the 2x16 and 10 foot.
