Can anyone give me an idea of what 77's go for in the upper Midwest? There is a 1949 77 gasoline, narrow front, with an old loader on, for sale at an estate auction. Looks pretty straight on the picture, has side curtains, but have not seen it in person. Any ideas?

If it runs well and the laoder works good, plus has good tires on it, it could bring $1000-3000. It all depends on who else might want it. $1000-1500 is about the price of any good running 77 with out side curtains so you can figure with them $500 more

I live in CT.I have bought 2 77's.One was complete original with NF for $2600.00.The other one I paid $1500.00 with WFE that has sucked $ 3000.00 out of me to get it back to straight condition.Auctions are a tricky animal.Set a budget and stick to it.Lots of these around your area.

Things usually go very high at auctions and if the tractor runs decent I would expect it go high in price. We don't see many of these Olivers here in the East. Our neighbor had one
and it was an excellent tractor. It wasn't a 77. Hal
