I called on 2 sets of 4 row cultivators today that are about a 1/2 hour from me. The guy says they will fit a 770 through a 1755 but only has mounts for the 1755. He isn't sure of the model series. He's dead set on getting $400 for each set. If anyone is interested in getting some cultivators for their machines let me know. I'll just keep looking. From talking to him they won't go to the scap guy either since he wants more than scrap value. He believes these are fairly high value pieces so beware if you are interested.

WOW! 10 years ago you couldn't hardly give them away. Around here they'll still bring $50 or so when you see them on a sale.

Alot of people won"t sell to individuals for scrap price, yet they end up taking it to the scrap man. I never understood the statement you see a lot in advertisements, "If it doesn"t bring $400 I will scrap it." When in reality the scrap value is only $150 or less.

Is this to use or for show and tell? What model was it? Now I would pay more for a good 750 or 752 cultivator than I would for one of the other ones. About 2 years ago there was a consignment sale near here with a real clean 2 row pipe cultivator. I did't think it would make more than scrap price. Went for over $200.00 J.

$ 400.00 does seem a little bit steep on the price. I bought a model 640 last summer in excellent condition for $110.00. The other one went to the scrap dealer for 80.00. Looking back, I wish I would have bought them both, but, I just dont have the shed space. I just hate to see them go for scrap, not like they are ever going to make anymore.
