Can someone tell how many diferent 6 cy.engines (OLIVER) that will bolt up in my "1953" Oliver "99" Also can you tell me where I could get my Bosh Inj. pump rebuilt? I'm particurly interested in what late model tractor--engine,that will fit right up to clutch shaft,or at least up to the center coupling.

You didnt get a answer to one of your questions on what motors will fit.You have a 302 It is the longer block so I think you could use a 1800c,1750 and that would give you a rosa master pump. These should fit with very little modifcation.

Seal kit is probably $60.00. You can put that in yourself.

Are you sure you want to do an engine swap? Not many 53 model 99 6cyl 4 speed were built (less than 1000) and many of those were exported. I know engine parts for these are hard to get though.

I'll second that! If you don't want to fix it right, sell it to somebody who will and buy something else. You've got yourself a pretty valuable tractor there.

I'd seen in a recent issue of one of the "OLIVER" magazines, someone that said they rebuild Bosh inj. pumps, I just can't seem to put my hands on that issue. Can someone help? Maybe post the name & -#. Thanks Dave

AB gave you a good source as they do my work now also. They seem to be very knowledgeable and concerned. I'm sort of fussy with my stuff.

This week keep your money in your pocket, Has this tractor set and then someone tried to start it? Did you check to see if the metering sleeve moved by using a small screw driver? How much money do you want to put in the pump? I am gone untill late late Thursday night. Send me a phone number or e-mail on the hpoca form. All is not lost yet. We probably had 250 plus Oliver six cylinder diesels we serviced and never had a PSB to a pump shop. If I don't know I know a good friend who did run a diesel shop when they were a Bosch service center.
