That's awesome! Thank you for sharing. It looks like you have done a lot of work and it came out great. A good investment of time and money. Truth is, I would like to see more photos. Maybe detail shots? Personally I think the HFWA are best looking 4 digit series tractors there is. The HFWAs look so aggressive and yet very proportional. They are rare but that's just a bonus compared to how cool looking they are. The way they moved the front axle back on the Mechanical FWA to get them to steer makes them look so stubby. Ironically, they still don't turn worth a darn. Hi-Crops are so disproportionately tall that they just aren't attractive. (I apologize to the Hi-Crop owners but it's the truth.) Does the HFWA work well? I'm surprised they didn't all have front wheel weights. Do you take it to shows and if so where? If it's not worth $50,000 it will be sometime soon.

I have not showed it.I just put it together in dec. and the picture was taken in jan. back home from the tire shop.I am waiting for Dumonts to make the front pump cover, then with new hoses, the front will be finished. All that is left is to wire the lights. It has 6600 hours and it was sold new in 4/70 to valpraiso,in.It is the only gas 3speed 1650 hpfwd that I know of.I know of two 1650 diesels, two 1950Ts, three 1950s, and two 1850s,and the 1550.I will have more pics when I finish. It was on a traders lot when I found it. It runs and operates very well.
I have two friends that passed over it ,saying it was cobbed up.They told me this when I brought it home, and I said, you guys need to read your books a little closer!
