Hey, I just put my 1957 Super 55 Diesel for auction. It's in really great shape all around with many parts new....shines like a new penny. It has already met my buying price(within minutes). But, what should it fetch? What's it worth?

Should have asked that question first before trying to sell. Then you could have set a resurve close to that if you wanted. Just my openion.

I don't care for setting reserve prices. I was asking $2,500 for it locally, so that's what I set the opening bid for. I got it first bid, so I'm satisfied. I've been called many things, but never greedy.

I was just curious what the experts on this board thought it might go for.

I think you're in the neighborhood, for average condition. Significantly higher for great condition, but probably harder to get the premium on Ebay, because of buying sight unseen. You're approaching it properly- put on a first bid that you'll be satisfied with, then anything over that is gravy.
