Oliver 70 - Single Front Tire - Worth?

I don"t know much about Oliver tractors, but I found any Oliver 70 - with the single front wheel for sale. The owners know nothing about it, the tractor came with the house they bought. They pulled the tractor to the front and put a sign on it for best offer. It looks like it hasn"t run in many years. Motor is stuck.

My question to you guys is "Is it worth the trouble?" I have messed with a few ford tractors (9N, 2N, 8N) and a couple Deere (40 & 1010), but I never had an Oliver. Are parts availible? Is the "70" with the single front tire desirable?

If there is the letter "E" at the end of the serial number that indicates the single front was installed at the factory rather than added later on in the field. This would enhance the value. If this tractor has a cast iron radiator shell with HART-PARR under the OLIVER and the "E" in the serial number BUY IT!

Hasn't run in years. I'd offer them a hundred or two, depends on tires and if tin is all there. Be fair, weigh it and give them scrap price. Chris

Oliver 70 with single wheel is little different. Parts are avalible for these. I hate when people ask whats it worth, might be $5 today and $5K tommorow, also its only worth what someones willing to pay for it, go words to live buy.
