I have found an Oliver 1355 but have not yet seen the tractor. Are these models worth having? Any particular problems? Who actually makes the engines in these tractors? Are parts for the tractors nearly impossible to find? Thanks for any information or suggestions on the 1355

The 1355 is a Fiat built tractor, very well built,a lot of parts can be bought at your AGCO dealer, also a very good source, Import Tractor on line.

Thanks for the information. I had no idea this was a Fiat built tractor. I am familiar with Hesston tractors which were Fiat built. My friend used to have a Hesston dealership. They are great tractors. Very under-rated. I wonder if this 1355 Oliver has the some 4 cylinder engine some of the Hesstons had? Do you know?

The 1355 is basicly a good tractor motor and tranny wise the hyd pumps and power steering pumps aren`t so good the orignal starter is a good one but when its wore out you can`t get parts for it and the replacements are junk...if yours hads FWA like mine the front ends are junk in them...im still looing for the front punkin for mine if any one knows where i might find a good used one please let me know
