With a gauge on one of the HYD lines I can only get 1000 PSI. There is adjustment left but when it is turned up there is a noise from the HYD unit but the PSI does not go up.
Any ideas?

There is an adjustment on the back side of the HYD unit just infront of the brake pedals. That is what I am adjusting.

You must have the optional externally adjustable relief valve.

New oil and filter. So 1000 PSI is as much as I should get?

First of all DO NOT exceed the 1000 PSI! Next you say you have adjustment left, do you have the rather rare external adjustable relief valve? If Not What are you adjusting? Make sure you have a new filter and oil too. J.
