The tractor has disc brakes with new discs and springs the balls and groves are clean but the right brake does not release all the time. The disks slide easily on the spline.
The acuators were swapped from side to side and the right side still did not release all the time.
Any ideas?

The pedal and rod are free. The facing looks pretty good. The only time it hangs is if the whells are moving forward as the brake is applied. Once the tractor is stopped the brake does not release all the way. The return spring seems to be fine. The pedal works fine when the tractor is not moving.

The rod, link or yoke could be binding up. Could you actuating them ok by hand before installing?Did you adjust the brakes back out to account for the new discs? How good are the brake pedal return springs - does the pedal come back easily after release? What does the actuator facing look like on the problem side. I had to turn down the actuator facing on one side of my Super 88 project due to rust and pitting.

I've had to put a little grease on the two bottom cast ,boy,I don't know what to call them,Slides maybe, where the notches on the actuaters slide in the rear end housing. Also might try backing off the adjuster and giving it a little more pedal.
