1755 Hydraulic Line Question

I am plumbing in a joystick into my 1755. I tapped into the metal line that goes behind the seat for the power, now I am working on the return. There is a metal line that runs out of the base for the remote valve and goes up to the cooler. This should be a tank line and I can tap into it right?
Thanks

I put mine back in the tank in the back. There is a plug on the back of the tractor on the bottom of the hydraulic unit that you can take out and plug the return line into. I think that is actually the drain for the hydraulic tank, but I always drain my system through the hydraulic system.....

Good luck

Yeah, the plug is on the left side looking from the back, and all my plumbing is on the right. I guess I could run a line back over there if I had too...Kinda a pain to miss the 3 point arms and what not.

You do want to use the plug shep is talking about. In fact they had a "diffuser" that went in that port on the inside to aid in keeping the oil in the reservoir from causing aeration problems inside the reservoir. Also adjust your rate of drop so it is very smooth when you lower the loader. More questions? J.

John,
If I plumbed into the line going to the cooler would I get too much air in the lines or something? I just hate to run a line the whole way back over to the reservoir, but I guess I will have to. I guess I could match the same size as the hard line that runs over the back of the hydraulic reservoir. Where can I get one of these diffusers? Would an AGCO dealer know what I am talking about? Also, what do I need to do to make the loader lower smoothly? Just add a flow control in the return line?
