I'm rebuilding a 4-150. I'd like to add a oil cooler to the main transmission behind the cab by taking the oil line that goes to the top housing on back of the transmission and running it through a oil to air cooler with a electric fan befor returning it to the housing. Will the trans lube pump be able to push oil through 10' more line? What kind of pressure and flow does the lube system run. How big of a cooler should I use? I'd like to run the engine oil into a similar cooler as well any one have a idea how to hook one up to a 3208? Thanks

There really isn't a need for an oil cooler for the transmission. We haven't had any problems with trans on our 4-150, and we useit hard. As far as the engine, it has its own oil cooler and should't need one as well. But any how, a cooler about the size of your over/under cooler should be sufficient. I think lube pressure is around 15psi if I remember correctly, but might not be right. I don't have any books to look at right now.
