As built all Super 55 models had a ear handle, to me so did most of the 550 tractors. When the front handle was made available you could convert a rear handle tractor to a front handle. The same is true the other way. 99% of the loaders that mount on one will mount on the other as well.

We had same problem when I was a kid. Dad traded a Super 55 for a 550. The forward pto lever was in the way. He found the parts for the older style pto lever like the 55 and put them on. The earlier 550's were this way then they went to the forward lever. When he took the loader off a few years ago he put the newer style pto lever back on. Don't know what happened to the other parts. I need some of them for a super 55 project I have.

please note i'm assuming that this loader fits 55's. maybe not? like i said, it fits my 550 but the pto lever is in the way, remove lever and it fits fine. so i'm wondering if earlier 550's had rearward lever. and will it fit 55's? this loader comes with it's own front pump.
