I bought one one time with a Chevy 6 in it for parts. I wanted the good 40" tire it had and the fenders. They had built a new frame for that one out of channel iron. It had the original front pedistal. They used the coupler from the Continental to power it to the rear end,so that wasn't a problem. I never did take the bell housing off the engine to see what the shaft was that went in to the clutch, but it fit the coupler. I still have the engine here intact. I really don't know if it's a 250,292 or what. Those parts should interchange to either. I'd sell them if you want them.No idea what they are worth.

OK,you had me curious so I checked while I was out there just now. It looks like what they did was use an input shaft from a Chevy transmission, cut it off and had it machined to fit the 70 coupler. Then they took a 1/2 inch plate, drilled it and bolted it to the back of the Chevy bell housing. It's got a hole in the middle for the shaft and has a pair of bearing flanges bolted to it to hold a "carrier bearing" which is just a bearing and lock collar.I guess then all you would have to do is find a way to bolt the engine in to the frame.
