Mongo, You mentioned getting rubber parts of the seat revulcanized, I have a super 55 that the rubber seat spring is starting to shear, therefore
you really have to twist the bolt in to keep the seat up off the transmission. could you post the name of the company, address, and phone number
that repairs this type of seat rubber. Thanks Kent

The price from Korves Bros for the rebuilt seat spring[1 yr ago] was $125.00 w/exchange

The address I have for the place that carries these rubber seat springs is as follows:

Minn Kota Repair

They carry the rubber seat springs as well as the rubber bumpers for the wide front ends. (Super 77 and the like ) and can re cover steering wheels also.

Korves Bros. in Red Bud Illinois handles the recored steering wheels and seat rubbers. Just send your old one in and they have redone ones on the shelf and you don't have to wait 6-8 weeks. They get theres done by Minn Kota also. DAVE
