Did anybody notice in the new Oliver Heritage that you can buy new black faced Oliver Hart Parr guages now! About time. My 39 70 needs them. They are kind of pricey, but necessary if you want to restore, not just repaint.

I've been waiting a long time for black face gauges but I think the prices are to high. I will continue to wait I guess.

Well, ya get what ya pay for. The import ones look like crap and don't work half the time. In the grand scheme of things it's a one time cost per tractor and mine deserve the best. The best parts for the best tractors. BUY AMERICAN!!!

Yes I did notice those black face gauges and from the photo they look very nice. The oil pressure gauge is dead nuts on to an original I took off of a '39 70. I don't mind paying for quality and these look like they will be just that. Did you notice they are genuine ROCHESTER gauges? Bill told me he is looking into having some WHITE face gauges made as well. They did in fact use some white face guages before they went to the yellow face in the mid '40s, of course the black ones were far more common though.

I didn"t happen to notice that they were Rochester. My 39 only has one original guage left, the oil pressure guage. I got too close to that playing around with the sand blaster,so I"m going to have to replace them all. Seems to me somebody on an earlier post was looking for the white guages for a Cockshutt 60.Hope they see this.
