We have had a long stretch of cold but my 1550 gas has started good so far without being plugged in to feed cows, a slow warm up is on the way (July!!) so the weatherman says! (I would plug it in but I haven't bought a timer yet and see no need to have it heating all day when i am at work)

My dad had to move manure today with our 165 Massey, and it started right up from what he says... Trouble is there's a little bit of moisture in the steering so we gotta let it warm up before it'll let us steer it much... I really gotta change the fluid sometime.....

I tried starting my 1600 a couple weeks ago but it wouldn't pop. It wasn't cranking too fats though, I think the battery was damaged when I was having charging problems with it. O wel, no need to run it in the winter anyway, it can wait till spring...

Yesterday morning my 1650 gas started good and it was -18. This tractor sits outside all night long. This morning I think I might plug it in for a bit first, it's -22 here.

We had -27 at 4AM,was up to -12 by 7.The 1600 started good,just took some time before I could let the clutch out. I use the 77 on the silage cart,had to jump that and use some ether,but I was amazed to get chores done as easy as I did. Darn,I miss the south! This keeps up,I'm finding a place in Kentucky whether anybody goes with me or not!

Yea,the wife talked to her sister last night and I talked to her husband,he said the wind chill was -4 but,that still beats the heck out of -27 actual. You guys will be working tobacco patches before we loose all of our snow though. God only knows when we'll get spring here.
