I Purchased an Oliver/White tractor, which was said to be a 1971 model year. I think the model is a 550 but don’t know for sure. I pulled the Model number of 515-71049 off the data plate and the Serial number 214-103-484. I went through this whole site to try and confirm the year and actual model of the tractor but with no success. The tractor does have a loader on it with a model number of 588 and a backhoe with a model number of 613. If anyone can help figure out what model of tractor and what year it was manufactured I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

You have a White/Oliver 2-44 tractor. It is a industrial 550 built in 1969. The complete unit is, most likely, a 2-44LL. I have one like it that was built in 1967. What color is yours?

If you need parts for the loader or backhoe, let me know. I bought mine cheap enough that I restored the tractor and am going to sell/part out/sell for scrap the rest. All 11 cylinders seem to be in good shape. At least they don't show any signs of leaking, and they worked good before I took the units off the tractor.

Where do you live, Oliver Fan? I might be interested in the backhoe. ADB

Thanks for the input. The color of mine is yellow like a Case. When I bought it I had no leaks but after putting in a water line I developed a leak on the backhoe, looks like a seal needs to be replaced. Other than that everything is operational. I do want to update the wiring and change out the lights which are rusted out.
