I just purchased my Grandfathers Co-op and was wondering how to identify the proper year, model number, ect. so I can find and purchase an owners / operators manual. I think it is an E3 but am not sure. Thanks for any help and advice.

The color of my CO-OP is exactly the same as what was on it. The paint was in bad shape on all of it except under the nose strip. So I took a piece
with good paint on it to LOWES. The guy put the piece in some computerized machine and the machine
told him what to mix in the base to get the color
I wanted. This paint was sprayed on by my son "He
won't let me paint". The paint is not shiny like a
car, it looks more like it did when it came from the factory . I suppose if you wanted it shiny, you could clear coat it. As for the decals, I took lots of pictures and measurements, and a fellow who makes signs, gave me some sign material and I cut out the letters myself. For the strips,
He cut those to the right width for me $5.
The origional lettering was painted on. The paint
is Valspar.

Will that number provide the year and model directly or is their a reference site to check? Thanks

Maybe I am mistaken- looks like the 30 has the year in the serial no, too, according to Dave with the pic above. My 35 doesn't have the year included in the number, but you can figure it out from the sequential number.

If I remember correctly 1949 was the last year the year was included in the serial number.
